24-year-old Black woman, loving, free spirit, an adventurer. Lover of new faces, family and friends, conversations about life, peanut butter from the jar, airplanes, seeing new places, countries, and things, lover of Business, Black Twitter, dried mangos, plantains, corny jokes, and book references.

“Dame tú WhatsApp” is a Spanish phrase I’ve heard in my travels around Central America and especially after a year of living in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Madrid, Spain. The phrase means “give me your number” as a means of contact through a popular messaging app called WhatsApp. I’ve heard it so much  while traveling that it’s become a joke between my friends and I.

I wanted to mix my love for laughter, friendship, and travel into one. I wanted to start a blog, but I wanted to focus more on the people, the experiences I have, the way my heart and spirit feel while I’m in whatever city or country. I wanted to focus on the topics not discussed as much, both positive and negative.

I’m currently residing in North Carolina. Here we go!
